History Pen

Did you know that Parliament Shop sells products (literally) made from Parliament House?

The History Pen is handmade in Canberra by KOITOYA using jarrah originally from a 1917 Wool Store in Fremantle, Western Australia. This jarrah was used in a pergola in the Prime Minister‘s courtyard, serving eight prime ministers from 1988 to 2021.

Our Chamber socks – designed by Canberra-based surface designer and screen printer Estelle Briedis and made by Victorian family company Otto and Spike – are inspired by the seating plans and range of colours in the Senate and House of Representatives.

Taking inspiration from the Parliamentary Library – a trusted source of information, analysis and advice for the Australian Parliament since 1901 – our Parliamentary Librarian's gin features a design inspired by open books. 

Distilled exclusively for Australian Parliament House by Tasmania’s McHenry Distillery, it’s as delicious as it is visually appealing.

Australian Parliament House nanoblocks®

Re-create Australian Parliament House with this fun nanoblock® set from Kawada Australia, perfect for improving problem solving, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Lapel Pins

Are you a fan of the classics or lean towards the more modern? Our lapel pins featuring a design inspired by the geometry of Australian Parliament House comes in two designs –Classic and abstract

Designed by Canberra’s Swell Design Group and made by Cash’s Awards and Promotion Solutions in Frankston, the pins are from a recyclable tin lead alloy with 24 carat gold plating and soft enamel infill. 

LEGO jigsaws

In 2018, Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught was commissioned to construct a LEGO® scale model of Australian Parliament House, to celebrate the building’s 30th anniversary. McNaught and his team used 152,690 bricks and took 740 hours to create LEGO® Parliament House, which shows both the iconic façade of the building and a detailed cross-section of its rooms and activities. 

Exclusive to Australian Parliament House and made by QPuzzles –an Australian owned and operated jigsaw puzzle manufacturing company on the Gold Coast – these LEGO Jigsaws take you into the action of the Senate and House of Representatives.
